Azalea Bonsai & Plant Propagation
If you did not make our last Satsuki Azalea Workshop here's your last chance to get on board for some fun with azalea bonsai. We have many outstanding varieties and GHHF is also working on more unique selections of hardy azaleas in zone 5. Bring your own azalea bonsai for refinement or start a new bonsai. Also, Wayne Jope, propagator at GHHF, will introduce you to all the essentials for successful softwood propagation. Participants will be instructed on various methods of softwood propagation and take home a flat of planted cuttings with instructions on how to care for them.

Juniper Bonsai Workshop
Junipers are commonly used in creating bonsai. We will look at the many types of Junipers used as well as other varieties suitable for bonsai. Wayne will share his knowledge on growing Junipers for bonsai and the do's and don'ts for cultural care. Demonstration will be on styling a gallon size juniper and creating a small bonsai.
